From Ground Zero to Industry Leader

I started my career in apparel sales and quickly moved into production, where I learned screen printing, heat press, vinyl, DTF, sublimation, and all of the behind-the-scenes systems that keep a shop profitable.

I’ve printed for local businesses, national brands, schools, events, and everyday hustlers who needed someone to help them bring their ideas to life. Over time, I became known not just for my printing, but for my business knowledge, pricing systems, marketing game, and no-fluff teaching style.

I’ve been featured in Impressions Magazine, recognized as a Bella+Canvas Woman of Change, and invited to speak at industry events like Graphics Pro Expo, Shirt Lab and other trade shows across the country.

The Coaching Life — Why I Teach the Way I Teach

People ask me all the time how I became a coach. The truth is… I didn’t become a coach first. I became a boss first.

A lot of new-wave coaches woke up one day and decided, “I’m a coach now.” Not me. I’ve got longevity in this game.

I’ve been in the custom apparel industry since 2000, and I didn’t start training until 2009 — almost a full decade of real experience before I ever taught my first class.

Now we’re in 2025, and that’s:

• 30+ years in the apparel and business game
• 15+ years of teaching and coaching
• And I still own and operate a screen printing business and a live printing activation business today

I’m not retired from the work. I’m not teaching from memory. I’m still doing the same things my students want to learn:

• Marketing and advertising my services
• Printing shirts and decorating apparel
• Booking live events and activations
• Building funnels and content systems
• Using AI daily to grow and manage my business

I’m not the coach who tells you how to do something I haven’t done. I’m the coach who’s still doing it, pressure-testing it, and then giving you the blueprint.

There’s a big difference between someone standing on the sideline telling you what to do… and somebody who’s in the trenches, hands dirty, living this life day after day.

That’s why my classes hit different. I’m not guessing. I’m not theorizing. I’m showing you what works because I live it.

As a Black woman and double minority in this industry, I know the grind. I know what it’s like to start from scratch, to be underestimated, and to break through anyway.

My mission is to help women, underrepresented entrepreneurs, and small business owners create real, sustainable success in custom apparel and beyond.
